Welcome Reception and Registration in the roof restaurant of ETH Zurich, 6 pm to 9 pm. From this place you will have a splendid view over the city, the lake and on nice days of the Alps. The Welcome Reception is sponsored by the Igora Co-Operative.

Geberit invites you to the Boat Lake Cruise and Congress Dinner, 7 pm to midnight, limited to 250 participants. We will stop at the end of the lake for visiting the historic castle of Rapperswil. This event is organized by EMPA.
29 August 2007:
Wine-tasting on a vineyard 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, limited to 50 participants.

30 August 2007: Visits to recycling facilities

All Excursions start and end at the conference site (University of Zurich at Irchel).
Meeting point: in front of the main entrance of the conference location; you will be picked up by a guide 10 minutes prior to the departure time.
Transport by coach.
The number of participants is limited to 25 each. The excursions are organized by EMPA. In the event of any problems, please contact Hans-Jörg Althaus (hans-joerg.althaus@empa.ch).

EBIREC mineral construction material recycling plant, from 13.30 to 17.00
3) Excursion Electronic Waste I: - Fully booked -
immark AG (Regensdorf) , the leading enterprise in the Swiss market for recovery and disposal of electric and electronic waste and refrigerators, from 08.30 to 12.00
4) Excursion Electronic Waste II:
IBM Research Lab (Rüeschlikon), from 13.30 to 17.00

Zürcher Theater Spektakel (Theater Festival)
Zürcher Limmatschwimmen (Swimming in the city river),
25 August, 12.00- 16.30:
The event is open for both fun and ambitious swimmers. The distance is 1333m downstream the Limmat (corresponding to 1000m in still water) through the old town of Zurich. Everything is well organised and the entry fee of 27 Swiss Francs comprises provisions after the swiming, transport of clothes bag to the destination and a small souvenir.
